In 2009 Mount Industries were invited to tender for fitted and freestanding furniture for the new build ‘ Forest Edge Special School’, in Totton, near Southampton.
We were contacted again in June 2010 when we were told that we had won the contract but needed to re-quote as some of the specifications had changed, that was done post haste.
The contract had been given to Mount due to our reputation with previous projects and competitive pricing.
Working from County Architect Drawings for multiple classrooms, kitchens and bathrooms we prepared designs as specified, which were accepted by both the Architects and the Builders.
In a timely fashion we solved any issues that threatened the tight deadlines that this project commanded.
Working closely within the project plan, Mount delivered and installed the furniture, as parts of the new building became available, in order to meet the tight deadline.
